About FollowSkills
An independent directory of Claude Agent Skills, with a written review behind every entry. No sponsorships, no paid placement, and no skill listed without a reason you can read.
What this is
FollowSkills catalogues Agent Skills — the SKILL.md-based extensions that Claude Code, Codex and similar agents load to gain a capability. Skills are spreading faster than anyone can evaluate them, and a repository's star count says very little about whether its skill is safe to hand your codebase to.
So each entry here carries a profile: what the skill actually does, when it fits, when it does not, what permissions it wants, and a scored review with the reasoning attached. Every profile exists in English and Chinese.
How an entry gets here
Candidate repositories are discovered on GitHub by rule, not by submission queue or payment. Each candidate is then read against its own SKILL.md, its README, its commit history and outside sources, and written up as a profile.
The write-up is produced by analysis assisted by automated tooling and reviewed before publication. Where evidence is thin, the profile says so rather than filling the gap with confident-sounding prose.
The score
Every profile carries an FSRS score out of 100, currently at version FSRS-2.0. It is not a popularity number — it is the sum of weighted dimensions, each shown on the page with the sentences that justified it.
A score is a starting point for your own judgement, never a substitute for it. Read the reasoning, not just the number.
- 90–100 · Strongly recommended — good evidence, no uncontrolled major risk.
- 75–89 · Recommended — generally reliable, with disclosed limitations.
- 60–74 · Use with care — real gaps in reliability, evidence or controls.
- 0–59 · Not recommended — benefit does not outweigh risk or uncertainty.
Independence
FollowSkills is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Anthropic, OpenAI, Microsoft, Google, NVIDIA, or any publisher whose skills appear here. The “Official” badge on a profile means the source repository belongs to that organisation, established from public provenance — it is not their endorsement of this site.
Nothing on this site is paid for. There is no advertising, no sponsored ranking, and no way to buy a listing or a higher score. Nobody has ever been charged to appear here, and no publisher sees a profile before it goes live.
Corrections and removals
If you maintain a listed repository and a profile is wrong, out of date, or you would rather not be listed at all, write to [email protected] with the URL. Corrections are made on the merits, and removal requests from a repository's maintainer are honoured without argument.
